Member Benefits The Washington School Personnel Association is a vibrant community of human resources professionals dedicated to the school community. Your WSPA membership includes free webinars, an electronic copy of the Personnel Operations Guide (POG), discounted registration to all of our workshops, conferences and events, legislative updates, member requests, discounted tuition through City University, and many other benefits designed to support human resources professionals and their districts.

The WSPA membership year runs from September 1st through August 31st.  If you renew during the months of June, July or August your membership will be advanced to the next membership period.

Individual Memberships

Active Membership $125  An active membership is a Washington State public school individual with responsibilities for personnel administrative and related functions in public, private, or post-secondary school systems, including but not limited to employee relations, data processing, employee benefits, salary administration, staff selection, or substitute operations. Associate Membership $50  An associate membership is for those individuals serving in the capacity of building administrator such as a principal, or serving in an interim or consultant position, and others with a focus on HR/personnel functions. Retiree Membership $50   A retiree membership is available to members who have been active in the association and are now retired.  If you have been a WSPA member for at least five years your dues will be waived for the first year following retirement.

District Membership 

District Membership $1,100 A district membership includes all of the benefits of an active membership, however is for those districts who would like to have up to 10 employees receive all WSPA communications. In addition all district employees are eligible for the reduced membership rate for all WSPA events.
